This is the Motorsports Channel - Coming up this weekend, the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series heads to Chicago with Earnhardt, Jr coming off of an emotional Nationwide win racing for Richard Childress in his father's #3 Wrangler Jeans Chevrolet. With only 46 points separating 15th through 11th place, the real race to get inside that Top 12 is a fight for next 8 races before Louden, New Hampshire. This group includes Edwards, Earnhardt Jr., Newman, Bowyer, and Martin. Indy car will hit the road coarse again as they arrive at Watkins Glen this weekend. Hats off to Roger Penske for adding Will Power to the permanent lineup. In other IRL news, Danica Patrick is suffering both in NASCAR and Indycar. The best she could for Andretti racing was 20th. This weekend, the Formula One circus heads to Silverstone, England - home to many Formula 1 teams including McLaren that is vowing to put one if its drivers on the podium. Both Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button claim they are ready to take the in front of the home crowd. They'll have to beat out Ferrari's Fernando Alonso and the Red Bulls of Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber.
