<p><br /> Nicolas Cage has described his latest film role as "like being a child."<br /> </p><p><br /> The Hollywood actor has teamed up with his old friend and collaborator, prodcuer Jerry Bruckheimer for Disney's summer fantasy movie The Sorcerer's Apprentice.<br /> </p><p><br /> Speaking at the launch of the film in Tokyo Cage said: "It was a lot of fun. It was like being a child. You know when I was a little boy, I was a wizard every other day. So it just made sense to be in this movie and play a sorcerer."<br /> </p><p><br /> The live-action fantasy is inspired by a sequence in the Disney classic Fantasia.<br /> </p><p><br /> Bruckheimer will be hoping the film goes down well with audiences around the world. The movie opened to disappointing box office figures in the US.<br /> </p><p><br /> "We hope it'll do very well. You know, it's a very entertaining movie, it's fun, it's a family film and lot of adventure, and excitement and romance," he said.<br /> </p>
