Barry recorded various demo tracks before he became famous and Amy was one of the first. <br />Tony Orlando produced this track and it was released on Bell Records under the name "Featherbed" Featuring Barry Manilow. It was written by Adrienne Anderson. <br />Bell Records was later re-named Arista Records when Clive Davis took over and as the saying goes, the rest is history.
