Today, Monday 26th July, Dromore Education & Community Partnership has been named as a finalist in the 'Best Sports Project Category' of the National Lottery Awards 2010. The awards recognise the amazing work being done by lottery-funded groups across the UK. The aim is to highlight the significant difference that projects - both large and small - make to communities everywhere and to celebrate the achievements of the people behind them. <br /><br />The children of Dromore, Northern Ireland had long been complaining about the lack of sporting facilities in their area.
