<p><br /> Ricky Gervais is set to have another guest role in The Simpsons.<br /> </p><p><br /> The comedian, who wrote 2006's 'Homer Simpson, This Is Your Wife', will appear as a new character in the animated comedy's 22nd season.<br /> </p><p><br /> Gervais has already appeared on the show as a character who starred alongside Marge and Homer in a reality series.<br /> </p><p><br /> His next star turn will be as himself in an episode in early 2011 that will see Mr & Mrs Simpson go to LA for the Oscars.<br /> </p><p><br /> Other celebrities in the new series include: Jon Hamm, Paul Rudd, Daniel Radcliffe, Hugh Laurie and Martha Stewart.<br /> </p>
