Mauro Giuliani was an italian composer, one of the most important for the guitar in the classical period of Western art music. <br />Many of Giuliani's compositions for the guitar have an obvious "orchestral character". So, if you listen carefully, you will be reminded of flutes, strings, violoncellos and doublebasses. <br />----- <br />personal note : <br />Sitting on my balcony with wine and candlelight, remembering those old days of travelling around with my guitar from one stage and festival to another... always in move and having a great time... I recalled this piece of music, which seldom had been part of my concert programs. For reasons I can't remember. So I'm glad to have at least one single live recording from a concert in a small german chapel, of which I hopefully think, that it's good enough to present it again in the www. <br /><br />Well, so much photographs of my own person in this video... that may seem strange or even narcisstic, and, yes indeed, remembering those times, this is it ! ;-)
