This video presents a rendering algorithm for displacement map on planes. <br />The main idea is taken from the paper "Displacement map on plane and sphere" by Elodie Fourquet (Graphics Interface 2008).<br />I worked for a few months on the extension to represent and render complex models. My results are also presented in the video.<br /><br />Pictures at the end are computed in 512x512. <br />The models are not very nice since I'm not really a modeler ^^ However, this shows the kind of things that are possible to do with the akgorithm.
