<p><br /> Rescue teams in China's Gansu province continued to dig through mud and rocks despite there being little hope of finding any survivors.<br /> </p><p><br /> Only one person has been pulled from the mud alive since Sunday, after the river burst, swamping entire mountain villages.<br /> </p><p><br /> Shen Si, an Ethnic Tibetan resident, watched as troops laboured to excavate the area where most of her family lies buried.<br /> </p><p><br /> She said: "My Mother and father... and my younger brother, all of three of them are buried here in our house still."<br /> </p><p><br /> There is little hope here for survivors, but residents want to recover bodies of their loved ones and send them off properly.<br /> </p><p><br /> The government said that 1042 people were missing.<br /> </p>
