<p><br /> A nine-year-old Chinese boy has been rescued in dramatic fashion after getting wedged between two walls.<br /> </p><p><br /> Both of the boy's parents were away from home when he became trapped in the 20-centimetre-wide gap.<br /> </p><p><br /> Neighbours in eastern Zhejiang province heard him shouting for help and called rescue teams.<br /> </p><p><br /> The solution to the boy's predicament was not immediately obvious, so it took some time to work out a strategy for freeing him.<br /> </p><p><br /> Rescuers could not reach the boy and so resorted to sledge hammers and chisels to knock a hole in the wall and pull him to safety.<br /> </p><p><br /> The boy was not seriously injured and was able to walk away from the scene to safety.<br /> </p>
