<p><br /> A police officer in the US is recovering after his car was hit head-on by another car that was being driven by a murder suspect, according to police.<br /> </p><p><br /> Infrared video was released of the chase in Fort Worth, Texas, which showed the fugitive's car being driven in the wrong direction on a highway on Saturday.<br /> </p><p><br /> The car was initially driving in one direction on the highway, it then turned around and in the footage it's seen driving in the wrong direction.<br /> </p><p><br /> The vehicle then drove head on into the officer that had initially been chasing the suspect.<br /> </p><p><br /> The officer is recovering at home, while the suspect is reportedly facing kidnapping and murder charges, police said. No other details were available.<br /> </p><p><br /> The dramatic helicopter video was shot from Air One, the Fort Worth Police Department's helicopter.<br /> </p>
