<p><br /> Rail passengers had to be rescued in dramatic fashion after a bridge collapsed in China.<br /> </p><p><br /> Two carriages of a passenger train fell into a river after floods knocked out parts of the crossing.<br /> </p><p><br /> The accident happened in Guanghan, a city about 50 kilometres north of the Sichuan provincial capital of Chengdu.<br /> </p><p><br /> Railway officials say all those on board the train managed to get out safely.<br /> </p><p><br /> The broken train remains balanced on both sides of the damaged bridge, while the two carriages which fell into the water are slowly sinking into the river.<br /> </p><p><br /> China has been hit hard by floods and landslides in recent months.<br /> </p>
