<p><br /> Sir Terry Pratchett is reassuring millions of Discworld fans he will never sell out to Hollywood.<br /> </p><p><br /> The acclaimed author insists he prefers smaller-scale adaptations of his hugely popular novels because he has more input in the way they are translated onto the screen.<br /> </p><p><br /> The film adaptation of his book Going Postal has just been released on DVD and Sir Terry is delighted: "I have to say that they've come up trumps".<br /> </p><p><br /> Despite having a plethora of best-sellers to his name, he has made more headlines in recent times because of his battle with Alzheimer's.<br /> </p><p><br /> However, he insists he won't let his condition overshadow his work: "Whatever gets said about me, the word 'Alzheimer's' will turn up somewhere - it's just one of those things and that doesn't really worry me.<br /> </p><p><br /> "What does worry me... is that people just home in on it and totally forget all about the books and movies."<br /> </p>
