In fact I had prepared a video with a fabulous song 'Cake Walking Babies From Home' by Clarence Williams & His Blue Five, a 1925 acoustical recording featuring a brilliant Eva Taylor on vocal. French copyright states "For phonographic works, the proprietary rights last for fifty (50) years after the date of recording". To my consternation, the video was rejected twice for inexplicable reasons.
