<p><br /> Police in Las Vegas say Paris Hilton has been arrested for cocaine possession after officers stopped the car she was in on Friday night.<br /> </p><p><br /> The socialite was reportedly booked into the Clark County Detention Centre on a charge of possessing the drug.<br /> </p><p><br /> The 29-year-old was in a car driven by a friend, when they were stopped after police noticed what they suspected to be marijuana smoke coming from it.<br /> </p><p><br /> Officials say they then found what appeared to be a controlled substance on Hilton and tests showed that it was cocaine.<br /> </p><p><br /> Saturday morning posts on Hilton's Twitter page gave nothing away: "Going to bed. Sweet dreams everyone. Xoxo Paris :)"<br /> </p><p><br /> In 2007, the heiress served 23 days of a 45-day jail sentence after being found guilty of violating her probation for a drink-driving conviction.<br /> </p>
