<p><br /> Police have revealed that multi-millionaire socialite Paris Hilton dropped a packet of cocaine whilst in the presence of police officers, which led to her arrest in Las Vegas, Nevada late on Friday night.<br /> </p><p><br /> Police say a motorcycle officer stopped a Cadillac Escalade on the Las Vegas Strip because he smelled marijuana coming from the car. They say the driver was Paris Hilton's boyfriend, Cy Waits, who manages a nightclub.<br /> </p><p><br /> When Hilton stepped out of the car, police say a crowd began taking photographs.<br /> </p><p><br /> Hilton then asked for some privacy, according to police, so a lieutenant took her into the security office at the nearby Wynn Casino Resort. At the casino the arrest took place, according to Police Sergeant John Sheahan.<br /> </p><p><br /> "While in the security office, she extracted a tube of lip balm from her purse. At that time, a plastic bindle containing a substance believed to be cocaine fell from her purse in plain view of the Metro lieutenant. This substance subsequently tested positive as cocaine," said Sheahan.<br /> </p><p><br /> Police say Hilton was kept handcuffed on a booking room bench, fingerprinted, photographed and released without bail early on Saturday morning.<br /> </p>
