<p><br /> Paris Hilton has thanked fans for their support following her arrest for allegedly possessing cocaine.<br /> </p><p><br /> The socialite wrote on her Twitter page: "I'm so thankful to all my fans for all the love and support you are giving me. Thank you all. Love you so much. Love Paris xoxo."<br /> </p><p><br /> The 29-year-old was arrested on Friday over one count of possession of cocaine, but claims the drugs and the purse they were found in were not hers.<br /> </p><p><br /> Meanwhile earlier in the week, a man was arrested for trying to break into the US heiress's house whilst she slept upstairs with her boyfriend Cy Waits.<br /> </p><p><br /> In the hours before her arrest, Paris was interviewed by a local TV station in Vegas where she was asked about the attemped break-in:<br /> </p><p><br /> "We were sleeping and heard this loud banging coming from downstairs and we went to check and there was this man staring at me through the window. He didn't even run.<br /> </p><p><br /> "He was smiling and had a kitchen knife, it was a long, a big buck hunting knife. And thank God, Cy was there with a gun to get the knife away and hold him until police came," she said.<br /> </p>
