<p><br /> Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has confirmed what many suspected - that there will be no X Factor series in the UK next year.<br /> </p><p><br /> In an interview at the GQ Men of the Year Awards 2010, the 39-year-old actress and presenter let slip her inside knowledge of Simon Cowell's plans.<br /> </p><p><br /> "There's loads of changes afoot next year, I know that there's no more X Factor - well, at least for next year", she said.<br /> </p><p><br /> The X Factor is set to launch in the US in September next year, and it is thought Simon Cowell is keen to focus on the American series.<br /> </p><p><br /> The rumour is that the UK series would be shifted forward by six months, starting in March 2012.<br /> </p>
