<p><br /> Rugby star Gavin Henson has admitted he agreed to take part in the new series of Strictly Come Dancing in order to put his personal troubles behind him.<br /> </p><p><br /> Speaking at the launch of the eighth BBC dance competiiton, Gavin said: "It has been tough. It has been stressful.<br /> </p><p><br /> My personal life and career wise with rugby, they have both been stressful. And that is the reason I have decided to do this, because I haven't been sleeping well and I just want to take my mind off those things."<br /> </p><p><br /> The Welsh international, who split from fiance Charlotte Church earlier this year, hopes his children will be watching.<br /> </p><p><br /> "They don't know I'm doing it yet. They are a bit young, but Ruby used to love the show last year so it will be cool for her to see me on it this time."<br /> </p>
