<p><br /> Officials are trying to trace a man caught on CCTV intending to take a dog for a walk but instead abandoning the Shetland cross terrier.<br /> </p><p><br /> The footage shows a man turning on his heel and striding back to his car, leaving the dog limping slowly behind him.<br /> </p><p><br /> Ginger, as she has been nicknamed, looks on as her owner drives off in a metallic blue Kia Rio.<br /> </p><p><br /> The incident was witnessed by staff in office blocks overlooking the car park. Ginger is now waiting to be rehomed.<br /> </p><p><br /> The incident is similar to that of Mary Bale, the lady who was caught dumping a kitten into a wheelie bin back in August.<br /> </p><p><br /> The 45-year-old has been charged with two counts of animal cruelty.<br /> </p>
