<p><br /> A mobility scooter driver has been caught on camera driving along a road with a large roll of carpet balanced across his vehicle.<br /> </p><p><br /> The clip, recorded by a driver following behind, shows the man wobbling along a road in Wincanton, Somerset, at speeds of up to 8mph.<br /> </p><p><br /> The elderly driver's cargo completely blocks the lane, forcing him to pull over to allow traffic to pass him.<br /> </p><p><br /> Gary McKenna, 20, was a passenger in the car behind the pensioner and recorded this video on his mobile phone.<br /> </p><p><br /> ''I was in a car with a mate when we saw him and thought it was rather out of the ordinary," he said.<br /> </p><p><br /> ''We drove past and parked up and waited for him to come past and followed him.<br /> </p><p><br /> ''I don't know how old the man was, I didn't see his face, but I'd have thought he was in his 70s," he added<br /> </p>
