<p><br /> Despite saying he felt poorly, Russell Brand still made it onto the yellow carpet for the premiere of his new movie Despicable Me.<br /> </p><p><br /> Brand voiced one of the characters in the cartoon alongside Steve Carell and Jason Segel.<br /> </p><p><br /> But minutes before the screening in London's Leicester Square on Monday night the actor and comedian tweeted saying he felt unwell and needed mollycoddling.<br /> </p><p><br /> That did not stop him making an appearance. Chatting to the press he said:'' I am worn out I think. Showing off too much.''<br /> </p><p><br /> Russell was joined by his co-star Carell at the event. As well as hundreds of fans and celebrities including Jason Donovan and Charlie Simpson.<br /> </p><p><br /> Despicable Me is out October 15.<br /> </p>
