So far, the cause of the collision is unknown.<br /><br />Damage from a collision in the North Sea.<br /><br />A Greek tanker carrying jet fuel collided with this Cypriot container ship some 30 kilometers off the Dutch coast Tuesday.<br /><br />The cause of the collision is still unknown.<br /><br />A Port of Rotterdam spokesman said the container ship had been en route to Rotterdam from St. Petersburg.<br /><br />The damaged tanker, the Mindoro, leaked jet fuel from a hole above the water line but the coast guard says the leak was quickly contained.<br /><br />The North Sea is home to some of the world's busiest shipping lanes and Rotterdam is one of Europe's biggest ports, but authorities are expecting no delays as a result of the accident.
