<p><br /> Former Busted star Charlie Simpson has been busy recording his first solo record.<br /> </p><p><br /> Since leaving Busted he formed the group Fightstar. They are still together but are taking a break at the moment so Charlie has been writing his own music.<br /> </p><p><br /> Speaking at a premiere this week he said:<br /> </p><p><br /> ''I have been writing my own songs for the last six months. I thought it would be a good time to do it. It should be out around february, March next year.<br /> </p><p><br /> ''It's acoustic based, kind of country folk style, band orientated but much more chilled than anything I have done before.''<br /> </p>
