<p><br /> Susan Boyle has made a rare public appearance at a book-signing in London.<br /> </p><p><br /> The Scottish singer appeared at a branch of Waterstones at the launch of her autobiography The Woman I Was Born To Be.<br /> </p><p><br /> SuBo rose to fame after her audition for Britain's Got Talent became an internet sensation.<br /> </p><p><br /> Fans queued from early on Saturday morning to get the chance to meet the 49-year-old as the first copies of her autobiography went on sale.<br /> </p><p><br /> Her publisher described The Woman I Was Born to Be as the "story of her life and the challenges she has struggled to overcome with faith, fortitude and an unfailing sense of humour".<br /> </p><p><br /> Boyle's second album The Gift is due out next month.<br /> </p>
