<p><br /> Ousted X Factor contestant Gamu Nhengu stole the show at the Mobo Awards in Liverpool.<br /> </p><p><br /> The teenage singer, who has been the subject of headlines over her controversial exit from the ITV series, made a surprise appearance at the ceremony, which took place at Merseyside's Echo Arena.<br /> </p><p><br /> As scores of fans screamed her name, Gamu said: "I am so excited. I'm so nervous. I hope I don't make a fool out of myself."<br /> </p><p><br /> The 18-year-old Zimbabwean also found a fan in former Destiny's Child star Michelle Williams, who told her how much she enjoyed her X Factor performance. "I'm rooting for you. Whatever happens, you'll be fine", said Michelle.<br /> </p><p><br /> Tinie Tempah and JLS were the big winners at this year's Mobo Awards, taking home two trophies each.<br /> </p><p><br /> N-Dubz and Professor Green both scooped one.<br /> </p>
