This is the opening ceremony of science fiction convention Newcon4, which was held in the Fishmarket of Northampton in October 2008. Ian Watson, Ian Whates, Ian Banks, Ken MacLeod, Paul Cornell and Storm Constantine officially open the convention. Some scenes before the opening are visible as well.
