<p><br /> Mighty Boosh co-creator Noel Fielding has revealed there are plans to take the hit comedy series to the US, but they will not be handing the show over to an American cast.<br /> </p><p><br /> "We'd go and do it ourselves," the comedian said.<br /> </p><p><br /> "A lot of people are interested and we've met some people over there so we'd write something slightly different for ourselves," he added.<br /> </p><p><br /> Fielding and his writing partner Julian Barratt are busy working on solo projects but are keen to get back together to work on the Mighty Boosh franchise which includes a new album and a film.<br /> </p><p><br /> Fielding said: "We'll either finish the film and put that out or go to America."<br /> </p>
