<p><br /> A pack of tiger sharks has been spotted feeding on a huge whale carcass near Rottnest island off the Western Australian coast.<br /> </p><p><br /> A local television station carried pictures of the group circling and savaging on the deceased mammal.<br /> </p><p><br /> Fishermen and boat operators were warned to stay away as state fisheries officials inspected the area, local media reported.<br /> </p><p><br /> Rottnest Island lies near the state capital of Perth and is a popular tourist destination.<br /> </p><p><br /> The sharks are believed to be juveniles tiger sharks measuring up to 6.5 ft long.<br /> </p><p><br /> But fisheries officials fear bigger sharks could soon be lured to the area.<br /> </p>
