<p><br /> Gwyneth Paltrow received a standing ovation when performing a song from her upcoming film, Country Strong, at the Country Music Association Awards in Nashville.<br /> </p><p><br /> The actress sang and played guitar, alongside Vince Gill, to a packed audience, which included Nicole Kidman and husband Keith Urban.<br /> </p><p><br /> Country Strong is due for release in the UK in March 2011.<br /> </p><p><br /> But we will get to hear Gwyneth sing before that, as the Oscar winner has filmed a two-part cameo on hit US TV show Glee, the new series of which starts in January 2011.<br /> </p><p><br /> Speaking of her Glee appearance, the show's creator, Ryan Murphy, told People magazine:<br /> </p><p><br /> "She had to sort of stamp around with Matt [Morrison, who plays Will] and the kids in a full tank of water for 12 hours. She loved it, actually. She's just the best.<br /> </p><p><br /> "She's the easiest, breeziest girl around - she's such a professional. She was so prepared, she worked so hard."<br /> </p>
