We went after the feeling of ridiculousness and absurdity of these measures which play a ping pong match with Gypsies, between France and Romania. But in fact, only France is playing ping pong. Romania is like a wall that Gypsies hit and go back."

Roma are a small minority in Romania - making up between four and eight percent of the country's population.

They often face prejudice at home, and many have migrated west in search of a better life - to places like France.

But a summer crack down on illegal Roma camps in France expelled thousands of Roma, sparking international controversy.
