From Brooklyn New York DJA-Rara is a cultural activist group in the Haitian community. Their mission is to preserve the culture and increase self-awareness to young Haitian Americans. The group performs in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park each Sunday during the summer months. Included in their musical arnsenal is a number of vuvuzela players.
