<p><br /> A leopard has attacked villagers in Tonk district of India's north-western Rajasthan state injuring eight locals.<br /> </p><p><br /> Even those with supposed expertise were amongst those that ended up suffering from injuries in the Ranthambore National Park.<br /> </p><p><br /> According to the forest officials, the leopard lost its way and entered the village.<br /> </p><p><br /> As soon as the locals saw the leopard, they informed the authorities.<br /> </p><p><br /> When the officials went to catch the leopard, it then attacked them.<br /> </p><p><br /> The forest officials and the villagers tried to tranquillise the leopard three times but were unsuccessful.<br /> </p>
