<p><br /> David Hasselhoff could take Simon Cowell's seat on Britain's Got Talent, whilst Simon focuses on launching US X Factor.<br /> </p><p><br /> Hasselhoff was a judge on America's Got Talent for four years but quit in January, saying he wanted to embark on his own reality show project.<br /> </p><p><br /> However, there were reports that TV chiefs did not renew his contract amid claims his battle with alcohol had made his position untenable.<br /> </p><p><br /> The former Baywatch star is currently in London rehearsing for his role as Captain Hook in the New Wimbledon Theatre's Peter Pan pantomime.<br /> </p><p><br /> Auditions for Britain's Got Talent 2011 are due to start next month.<br /> </p>
