<p><br /> Nicole Kidman was joined by her husband Keith Urban and co-star Aaron Eckhart for the New York premiere of her latest film Rabbit Hole.<br /> </p><p><br /> It tells the story of a husband and wife whose lives are turned upside down when their young child dies in an accident.<br /> </p><p><br /> Kidman said she was attracted to the film due to its raw emotional depth.<br /> </p><p><br /> "The film is about moving through pain and how a family copes with that and I think it connects us all and I hope that it makes people feel less alone when they see this film", she said.<br /> </p><p><br /> Aaron Eckhart, who plays Kidman's husband Howie Corbett, does not have children of his own but says he spent time with grieving families to get a sense of loss.<br /> </p><p><br /> "I went to the source, I went to people who lost people. I attend a grief seminar, got as much as I could. And then I just put myself in that situation.<br /> </p><p><br /> "I'm not a parent, I'm not married, but I mean I don't think you have to be to be able to empathise and to relate to that."<br /> </p><p><br /> Rabbit Hole is released in UK cinemas from 4 February 2011.<br /> </p>
