<p><br /> Former EastEnders star Kara Tointon and her partner Artem Chigvintsev, received a standing ovation for their Rhumba.<br /> </p><p><br /> The pair also received a near-perfect score of 39 from the judges, and are now the bookies joint favourite to win.<br /> </p><p><br /> A surge in the actress' popularity has pushed her neck and neck with previous favourite, presenter Matt Baker.<br /> </p><p><br /> Whilst Tointon received 39 for her Rhumba, fellow contestant Pamela Stephenson once again scored straight 10s for her Quickstep, with dance partner James Jordan.<br /> </p><p><br /> The 61 year old received high praise indeed from the usually critical Craig Revel Horwood, who told the pair: "One word, three syllables, starts with f. Fabulous!"<br /> </p><p><br /> Pamela, Kara, Matt, Gavin Henson and Scott Maslen are all still in the running for the Strictly crown.<br /> </p>
