<p><br /> A stadium roof in the US has collapsed under the weight of snow following a winter storm.<br /> </p><p><br /> The Minnesota Metrodome proved no match for the blizzard that pummeled the American midwest on Sunday.<br /> </p><p><br /> Snow covered the playing field inside the American professional football stadium after the inflatable roof ripped in spots and fell through.<br /> </p><p><br /> There were no injuries, but the roof collapse prompted the National Football League to reschedule a game between the Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants.<br /> </p><p><br /> A blizzard warning is in effect for Chicago and parts of northern Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Missouri, Michigan and North and South Dakota.<br /> </p>
