<p><br /> Sexy singing sensation Christina Aguilera has been promoting her first feature film, the all-singing, all-dancing Burlesque.<br /> </p><p><br /> The former Disney star has followed in the footsteps of her Mickey Mouse Club contemporary Britney Spears by making the move from music to movies.<br /> </p><p><br /> In Burlesque, Aguilera stars alongside legendary diva Cher in a role that allows her to show off her impressive singing skills. She plays Ali, a small-town girl that heads to the bright lights of the big city to find fame and fortune in a burlesque club.<br /> </p><p><br /> As burlesque has roots in European culture, Aguilera has said she would consider a sequel involving Morris dancing, the traditional English pastime, or Irish dancing, but she firmly ruled out the Macarena.<br /> </p><p><br /> Burlesque hits cinemas Friday December 17.<br /> </p>
