<p><br /> Cheryl Cole's close 'friend', Derek Hough is reportedly upset that the singer has decided to spend Christmas in the UK.<br /> </p><p><br /> Cheryl was apparently due to spend the festive season in LA, but has reportedly changed her mind and will now spend it with her family.<br /> </p><p><br /> Cheryl has had a pretty tough year, divorcing husband Ashley Cole and battling malaria; so it is understandable she would want to be close to her loved ones.<br /> </p><p><br /> Derek is allegedly upset though, as he was hoping to introduce her to friends and take her to parties.<br /> </p><p><br /> Cheryl has apparently told Derek that he is welcome to spend Christmas with her over here, if he can get a flight.<br /> </p>
