Some areas got as much as 10 inches of rain in a 24 hour period, and forecasters say there is more to come over the next few days.<br /><br />The Australian state of Queensland is suffering from major flooding in the aftermath of tropical cyclone Tasha which hit parts of the state on Saturday.<br /><br />Australia's Bureau of Meteorology says almost 10 inches of rain fell in just 24 hours as of Sunday night.<br /><br />Homes are flooded and many roads are blocked, causing frustration for motorists.<br /><br />[Unidentified Local Resident]:<br />"The bridge is under, we can't go home, we can't go forward."<br /><br />In Brisbane, the capital city of Queensland, State Emergency Services got 1,100 calls for help on Sunday night.<br /><br />Drivers who ignore warnings and drive through flooded roads risk being charged by local police.<br /><br />Forecasters warn there will be more rain over the next few days along the entire east coast and many inland communities are also on flood watch.
