<p><br /> Two packages have exploded in the mailrooms of two Maryland state government buildings.<br /> </p><p><br /> No one has been seriously injured, according to a federal law enforcement official.<br /> </p><p><br /> The official said one was in the mailroom of the Maryland Department of Transport facility in Hanover while the other was in a mail-handling facility in a state building in Annapolis.<br /> </p><p><br /> The packages detonated, erupting into smoke and flames, but that no one was hurt or seriously injured and no one was taken to the hospital.<br /> </p><p><br /> The official said the Maryland state police was the lead agency investigating, and that the FBI and other federal law enforcement agencies were assisting.<br /> </p>
