<p><br /> Popular X Factor judge Cheryl Cole is said to be snubbing the competition's contestants in a bid to be seen as a singer and not a judge.<br /> </p><p><br /> Cole has allegedly asked organisers of The Brit Awards to seat her away from X Factor contestants such as Olly Murs and Alexandra Burke with a source adding: "Cheryl doesn't mean to be picky but she's asked not to be seated at the same table as Alexandra Burke or Olly Murs."<br /> </p><p><br /> Cole rose to fame through reality show Popstars The Rivals, after which she performed as part of pop band Girls Aloud.<br /> </p><p><br /> Reports suggest that the Geordie singer now wants to be recognised primarily for her solo music for which she is nominated for a Best Solo Artist and Best Single Brit Award.<br /> </p><p><br /> Meanwhile, Cheryl's fellow X Factor judge Simon Cowell is said to be encouraging her to move next door to him in LA rather than with rumoured boyfriend Derek Hough.<br /> </p>
