Ingredients:<br />2 cups beans <br />3 tbsp olive oil <br />2 onions diced <br />4 cloves of garlic minced <br />2 tsp cumin powder <br />1 tsp red chilli powder <br />2 tsp amchur<br />1 cup water <br />Salt and pepper to taste<br /><br />Preparation:<br />Heat the oil over medium heat,add the onion, and sauté until soft, about 10 minutes. <br />Add garlic and continue sautéing for another minute or two. Stir in the beans, spices and 1cup of water.<br />Mash the beans into the liquid. If they seem too dry, add more liquid. <br />Taste and adjust the spices. <br />Note: Sesame oil adds a wonderful flavor to refried beans. Refried beans are divine when topped with cheddar cheese, sour cream, and red onion.
