<p><br /> Comedian Adam Sandler has been honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, for his services to the movie industry.<br /> </p><p><br /> The 44-year-old actor has had a prolific career, with his films grossing more than 3 billion dollars worldwide.<br /> </p><p><br /> The funnyman attended the unveiling with his family, sharing the podium with his two daughters for his speech.<br /> </p><p><br /> Sandler seemed humbled by the whole event, saying: "I worked hard as a comedian, and then I got on TV and I got into movies. Just so many people come out here with the same dreams I had and somehow I'm getting to do them and I really appreciate it."<br /> </p><p><br /> The comedian's latest movie Just Go With It, co-starring Jennifer Aniston, opens in the US on February 18.<br /> </p>
