I come from a dance background, so I really took in the different techniques that the dancers used, and the Chinese history and the technique is an amazing one so it would be very difficult to learn. And I can really appreciate the skill of all the artists. "

Ms. Francis enjoyed the live orchestra accompanying the dancers on stage.

[Ashleigh Francis, Miss World Australia 2010]:
"The music was very empowering, I like how they used different levels with the music and with the instruments, and it's very much a Chinese-based background, so they're keeping the culture within the performance."

Her companion, the 2009 Miss World Australia winner Sophie Lavers, was also impressed.

[Sophie Lavers, Miss World Australia 2009]:
"I love it. I'm going to recommend to all my friends. I am really, really impressed. I grew up as a dancer so I did a lot of classical ballet till I was about 20. So I am very critical and very hard to impress. But I love it, I love every single piece."

Shen Yun continues to perform in Sydney through February 27th.

NTD News, Sydney, Australia.
