<p><br /> Six people have died and six others are injured after a passenger plane crashed in foggy conditions in the Irish Republic.<br /> </p><p><br /> The turboprop aircraft travelling from Belfast crash was carrying ten passengers and two crew.<br /> </p><p><br /> It landed on a runway at Cork Airport on the third attempt to land.<br /> </p><p><br /> The Irish Aviation Authority said the Flight Avia No FLT400C was making an approach to Runway 17 when it got into difficulties in low visibility conditions.<br /> </p><p><br /> Emergency services were called out to tackle a fire and debris has been scattered onto the runway over a wide area.<br /> </p><p><br /> An investigation is now under way.<br /> </p>
