<p><br /> A troubled young man in Ningbo City, eastern China was rescued during a suicide attempt, according to state media.<br /> </p><p><br /> The 23-year-old man was attempting to jump from the top of a 13-storey hospital building, standing outside the roof's railings and holding on with only his hands<br /> </p><p><br /> Rescue workers, firefighters and police officers were unsuccessfully trying to console and coax the emotional man out of jumping.<br /> </p><p><br /> Just as he was about to let go, rescue workers used ropes, harnesses and their hands to grab him before hauling him back to safety.<br /> </p><p><br /> After an ordeal lasting nearly two-hours, the young man was rescued by a group of workers.<br /> </p><p><br /> State media said he had tried to kill himself after quarrelling with his girlfriend.<br /> </p>
