http://www.ucrystal.com. The Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Assumption is a structural masterpiece and a well-known landmark in San Francisco. The roof was such designed that it curves up from a square base to form a cross on the top. <br /><br />Based on some photos, a 3D model was constructed and laser engraved into 3D crystals. The 3D laser crystal engraving utilizes green semiconductor laser to form the image inside the crystals while keeping the surface unchanged. <br /><br />The laser engraved 3D model can be viewed from all directions.
