Reid Baer WANTS a LIVING PROPHET to HELP US<br />-<br />By the power of the Word was <br />the Earth made and by the Word of <br />Holy Prophets was the Bible <br />written to inspire their own <br /><br />generation, and did the folks<br />listen? Would we listen if a <br />prophet walked among us today? <br />Are only dead prophets true? Are <br /><br />all living prophets false? What if … <br />what if there were a seer for our <br />time? Is it so impossible? <br />Does imagination forbid <br /><br />such a thing? A Man of God would <br />provide essential vision for <br />this perishing world. I can not<br />be its savior. So shall I then<br /><br />despise divine revelations <br />in the Bible or without? Who<br />shall say The Almighty speaks no <br />more? A scripture out of context? <br /><br />I have a deep fondness for the <br />unsearchable depths within the <br />mysteries of God. Yet I pray <br />that the great and marvelous works <br /><br />of the Lord have not ceased because <br />of me or thee my friend. Is there <br />Faith enough among us in this <br />modern dispensation for a <br /><br />man bearing more sure witness of <br />Christ? Is there a Priesthood holder <br />who speaks for Him now as in days<br />past? Oh, bless us with an Elder<br /><br />in the 21st century<br />to guide us through the season of <br />destruction and help prepare us <br />for Christ’s second coming. Dear Lord,<br /><br />give unto the House of Israel <br />and the Gentiles one as great as <br />Abraham, Isaac, or Jacob <br />to reveal thy sacred Word once <br /><br />again. The Spirit blesses, but <br />a properly ordained prophet <br />professes. We need him now. And<br />I … I am prepared to listen. <br /><br />-
