The Rochdale Dawah Centre (RDC) is a UK registered non profit charity organisation (no. 110 4240) set up in 2003 in order to:<br /><br />Invite Muslims back to the true teachings of the Quran and Sunnah<br />Educate non-Muslims about the true teachings of Islam<br />Engage and contribute to the community in which we live.<br /><br />RDC is committed to co-operating with other organisations and is open to all members of the community regardless of their faith.<br /><br />The RDC is funded by donations from the public.<br /><br />Serving the community through Unity<br /><br />A wide range of activities are currently held at the centre throughout the week, including:<br /><br />- Exhibitions and open days on Islam<br />- Jumu'ah Khutbah in English<br />- Arabic Classes<br />- Adult Study Circles<br />- Weekly talks covering a range of topics for males and females<br />- Weekend Islamic school for children<br />- Help and support for new Muslims<br />- Free literature and Quran distribution<br />- Access to small library
