PEGASE systems is pleased to introduce its new Radar Test Center. Ideally located on the Mont St Clair in Sète harbour, the station faces (60m above sea level) the Mediterranean sea and covers a wide 180° panorama. Typical traffic in this area allows detecting and tracking jet-ski, yachting, fishing boats, cargo ships or tankers. <br /><br />The station is equipped with a complete VTS installation including POSEIDON® HD520 long range maritime radars (20ft), an AIS station, a video surveillance pan & tilt camera. Additionally, high performance thermal imagers allow operation in night time or poor visibility conditions. Those various sensors are connected to our ORCA® software. The installation can be remotely controlled from our General Head Office in Montpellier. Real time information of the tactical situation in the Lyon gulf is broadcasted through a high speed data link to our client/server architecture.
